We are a full service Motorola Two-Way radio dealer located in the Ozarks of Missouri, 40 miles north of Branson. This family oriented area has drawn thousands of new residents in the last few years, due to climate, living conditions and recreational opportunities.

We are currently seeking a qualified technician to install, repair, align and maintain two-way radio communications systems and computer systems in our service center and at customer sites.  Duties include installation and technical support for VHF/UHF, 800 Mhz analog/digital systems, mobile and portable subscriber equipment, and communications dispatch console equipment.  (Installation of some equipment can involve some lifting, up to 50 lbs).

The candidate will perform various activities associated with a company service van, such as maintaining repair parts supply and tools in a neat manner, and using a service van when installing customer equipment. Therefore, applicants must possess a clean driving record and valid drivers license.

Applicant must be self-motivated, dedicated, have a strong pride in their own workmanship, be neat and orderly, and possess good time management skills.

Applicant must hold a Technician Class (or higher) Amateur Radio License and have a knowledge and understanding of two-way radio theory and communications systems.  Applicant must also hold (or obtain within 6 months of beginning employment) both CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certfications, or similar ETA Certifications.  Applicant must also hold (or obtain within 6 months of beginning employment) an ETA Associates Level (or higher) Certification.  More details regarding these requirements will be given during personal interviews with applicants.

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

  • Experience in servicing Land Mobile Two-Way Radio equipment/systems
  • Experience installing electronic equipment (two-way radio equipment, stereos, etc.) in vehicles
  • Experience servicing computer hardware and networking systems
  • Experience in computer and/or embedded systems programming (Visual Basic, PowerBASIC, C, C++, and/or assembly language)
  • holding a General Radio Telephone License

Candidate must be willing and able to work after normal business hours (evenings and weekends) for on-call duties, on a rotation basis. A background check and drug test may be required before being accepted for employment.
