The following are audio recordings of tests done with MotoTRBO to demonstrate MotoTRBO's ability to reduce background audio noise. Portable Radio in an A Star Helicopter The following is an audio recording showing how MotoTRBO will work with VOX (voice-operated-transmit) mode in a high-background-noise environment. A MotoTRBO portable radio with a single earpiece headset/boom microphone was used on a fire engine pumper, with the engine revved up to about 2000 rpm. The following is an audio recording demonstrating how well MotoTRBO works in a weak-signal situation. This is a recording of an an on-the-air comparison test that was performed by our company to see how a weak analog FM signal would compare to a weak MotoTRBO digital signal in readability. The test was set up to provide an 'apples-to-apples' comparison (or as close as possible to such a comparison while doing it 'in the field' rather than in a laboratory setting). The following is an audio recording of a test done in a nearby county, where analog was compared to MotoTRBO. |
